Dragon’s latest 1/72 scale King Tiger with Porsche turret has just been announced. It is the first ever to feature a pre-molded zimmerit coating. Zimmerit was an anti-magnetic paste applied to many armored vehicles to prevent enemy soldiers from attaching magnetic antitank mines. Zimmerit is notoriously difficult to replicate on models, especially so in 1/72 scale, so this fine model kit offers modelers the ideal solution. Using Dragon’s patented injection-molded zimmerit, the hull and turret of the mighty Tiger II tank features an accurately textured zimmerit surface.
